Needlefelting Workshop

Enjoy a relaxing morning and learn the art of needlefelting. Choose a stunning landscape photo for inspiration. Then choose your wool colours and get felting. Every piece is unique and it's such fun. Hilary will frame your work so you will go home with a unique finished piece of work in a beautiful deep frame.

During this workshop you will learn how to create some popular designs including chevron, flowers and hearts, then transfer these onto paper, which can then be used to create beautiful cards or other gifts. The cost is £25 for one workshop, or £70 if you pay for three.

Beginner's crochet is your first step on your learn-to-crochet journey. This workshop is suitable for complete beginners or for anyone who has crocheted in the past and forgotten the basics.

By the end of the workshop you will

• Understand how hook size, tension and yarn affects your finished piece

• Cast a foundation chain

• Complete a row of stitches

• Learn how to turn your work

• Skill/time permitting complete a row of treble crochet

• Either take your work home to finish or learn how ‘cast off’.

Next step

Once you have completed the beginner workshop and practised your skills you will be ready to move onto the Level 2 workshop where you will learn how to make a granny square.
