Teen Sewing Workshops Summer 24

Is your teenager keen on learning to sew? Or, do they already sew, but need some help with more challenging projects. This two hour workshop is suitable for anyone level.
Beginner's can learn how to thread the sewing machine (we provide one, or you can bring your own), and make a cushion cover from upcycled fabrics.
More experienced sewers can choose from a variety of projects such as a quilted pod, cute fabric basket or a patchwork bag.

Other dates and times can be arranged.

All tuition, materials, equipment and refreshments are provided for only £30 per two hour session. Pease ask for a discount if you book more than one workshop.

Mini Makers Sewing Workshops for ages 7-11

Jazz up your Jeans

Bring along a pair of jeans (or denim Jacket) and we will show you how to embellish them with lace, buttons and flowers.
Suitable for children aged 7+ and adults.

Monday 5 August 1-3pm

Wednesday 14 August 1-3pm

The cost is £25 for this fabulous two hour session which includes all materials (apart from jeans), tuition and refreshments.

Children's   4 Week After School Sewing Club

Thursday 13 June 6-7pm or

Monday 10 June 6-7pm

Our ScrapAdoo eco sewing workshops for children are also popular.  We use upcycled fabrics which means they can continue sewing at home using items such as old pillow cases.

This 4 week one hour after school sewing club is an ideal introduction to learning how to sew. 

They will learn how to thread a sewing machine, cut out fabric, use straight stitch and zig zag. They will make a bean bag, bunting and cushion. 

All materials, equipment and refreshments are provided for only £60 for the 4 weeks.

This sewing club is also suitable for more experienced sewers who can work on their own sewing projects.
