If your sewing skills are a bit rusty, or you’ve always fancied sewing but never tried, then come to Scrapadoo in mid Cheshire. Scrapadoo was born in January 2020 to Hilary Belshaw, a keen lifelong sewer. Hilary runs informal and fun sewing workshops for beginners and improvers in a cosy converted barn called The Bullpen. Using upcycled fabrics she helps people to gain confidence with sewing to make cute projects such as fabric plant pots, shirt cushion covers and bunting.
Children's craft and sewing workshops are available in the school holidays and after school. Seasonal wreath and flower workshops are also very popular.
Please contact Hilary for more information and to book.
Kind Words
Thank you for a fabulous evening! I feel so accomplished! Great instruction, production and flap jack (Emma)
A lovely way to spend a Friday evening. I arrived with zero sewing skills and left with an actual bag! It's totally inspired me to get a sewing machine and start creating. (Imogen)
Hilary has an easy going teaching style and is really helpful (Adelle)
Hilary is so friendly and puts you at ease. She guides you through your sewing experience without laughing when you go off-piste as I did. Recommend this for those nervous on sewing machines. (Nina)
The workshop was the perfect balance of learning the basics, acquiring new skills and a gentle challenge! (Imogen)
Such a fun morning! (Karen)
I loved the workshop, not been that creative in years (Emma)
